My father was a New England sales rep for Tampax, Trojan (yes condoms), Ipecac and several other leaders in the health and beauty aids industry.
My mother was the controller of a large company from the time I was 7. At 50 she went with her dream and opened her own china and crystal shop in Harvard Square, Cambridge.
On October 1, 1985 with 3 boys under the age of 6 at home, my professional journey began going store to store with a bag of earrings that wholesaled at $24.00 a dozen.
